CASE STUDY ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION

Donor funding is vital for humanitarian work, yet most professionals in the sector would rather spend their time in the lab or delivering services in the field than writing proposals.

That’s why Sonata Learning worked with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) to develop a two-day, activity-based training workshop to help scientists, doctors and public health practitioners quickly learn and apply a streamlined approach for writing effective proposals aligned with donor priorities. Sonata’s role included both co-creating the workshop with EGPAF’s business development team and conducting a train-the-trainer session to help the business development staff apply learner-centered facilitation techniques.

Sonata Learning’s training of trainers workshop was highly effective. Participants walked away with a deep understanding of learner-centered methods and the confidence to effectively deliver the curriculum.
