Storytelling Skills for Professionals

Description

Much has been written about the power of storytelling for business communications.  When done right, storytelling can be a highly effective tool to motivate, persuade and educate audience.  That said, keeping stories focused and engaging can be a challenge.

In this course, we will introduce a simple but versatile framework for outlining effective, tightly focused stories that enhance your underlying message and delivery techniques that hold listeners’ attention and elicit the desired response.

The course can be delivered in-person or virtually as a short, half-day session reviewing fundamentals with opportunities to practice throughout, or a full-day workshop where participants have extensive opportunities to apply the framework and skills to their own projects (or pre-prepared case studies) and receive constructive feedback from the facilitator.

To ensure that every attendee has the opportunity to actively participate and receive personal feedback, larger groups will require additional sessions/facilitators.
