Training Disaster Management Teams for International Emergencies.
The International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) hired Sonata Learning to redesign its onboarding program for surge personnel, with the aim of reducing the time and expense to prepare team members for deployment. This was a massive undertaking, as participants required training on everything from logistics to cultural awareness, supervising volunteers, and information management.
E-learning development was new for our organization, but Sonata’s experts helped us work within our budget to create modern, visually appealing and instructionally sound courses and interactive simulations that have been quite popular with our audience!
